If you are a small account looking to get more followers and likes, then getting past Instagram's 30 hashtag limit may be what you need to increase engagement. While I don't recommend posting so many hashtags in your caption (it looks terrible), there are certain ways to add tags and still make your posts look super clean.

First, if you want to add over 30 hashtags, then when you first post your content, don't include a single tag in the caption. If you do, this workaround will not work for some reason. Instead, type in 30 hashtags as a comment and post it. Now, go back to your post's caption by tapping on the three dots at the top right of your post and choosing "Edit."

From here, you can type in another 30 hashtags. If you need help thinking of good tags, then I recommend using Focalmark to ensure you get the top tags that are trending right now.

I would also recommend not just posting another 30 tags in your post's caption right after the initial un-hashtagged caption. Instead, create a line break and space out the hashtags to the bottom of your caption so that they are not seen immediately on your feed, but are hidden past the "more" option.

Hashtags only in the comment.

And more added to the caption.

This will still give your post a cleaner look while adding in an extra 30 hashtags to increase engagement. Now, you are able to add in 60 hashtags per post, letting you push out your IG account to the tagged masses.
